Summer Bright's

I've done it again... head to toe Zara! Again not intentional! I have been waiting for the perfect day to wear this bright dress and today was the day. This is so bright and vibrant that wearing it on a dull day just doesn't cut the mustard! Although this dress is a fine knit because of the loose fit it's comfortable to wear when it's blazing hot! I picked up these gorgeous shoes in the Zara sale along with this bag which I thought went perfect with the bright colour of the dress along with (of course) a red lip! My favourite. 

I say it every time but I really hope this summer weather is here to stay now! Enough of the rain and clouds my wardrobe is not geared up for it especially at this time of year!

Vintage 501

Today's post is centered around these Vintage Levi 501 Jean Shorts. I recently purchased these from a little independent vintage boutique in Sheffield. I've wanted some nice denim cut off's for a while but have never found the perfect pair that fit quite right or that aren't far too short. These are the perfect pair, they sit high on the waist and fall at just a nice length. I know I will be getting my wear out of these and as always I've thought of a million ways to style them up already! Today was a gorgeous sunny day so I went for a glass of wine and catch up with one of my close friends in a country pub. I've paired them today with a summery white blazer, simple cami and some block heels (which are the comfiest shoes ever!).

Relaxed

I love the relaxed feel of this boyfriend fit shirt.  I wanted to experiment with different looks and if you follow my Instagram you will see I've had my wear out of this over the past few days! It's so wearable and can be paired with skinnys and heels for a casual evening look. I wore this shirt over the weekend to my first BBQ of the year with denim cut off shorts and flats. I've seen a lot of these shirts on the High Street and I've chosen a few of my favourites above. You can click the links to shop the items.

So let's talk about the Midi. This is definitely a trend that I am a huge fan of . It's so versatile and gives an elegant ladylike feel to any look. This piece can be dressed up for the evening or worn in the day with flats and a jacket to give a laid back feel. It can be taken from day to night by simply adding a pair of barely there strap heels, silk cami and statement necklace. How amazing is this weather we've been having? I absolutely love how positive everyone is when there is a little sunshine and it definitely feels like summer is almost here. This is the first post I've done since I started blogging with bare legs! Although I have put these two pieces together as a Co-Ord they aren't supposed to be a two piece. The shorts are Zara (last summer) and the jacket is Topshop and I can't believe how well they match considering. I've paired this with a plain grey T and my barely there sandals for a simple look. The brightness of the shorts and jacket says it all so I didn't feel the need to accesorise like I normally do.

I really hope this weather is a sign of a beautiful summer!

Oversized

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Zara and today's look is pretty much head to toe Zara! Although I didn't realise until I was doing my write up it's inevitable when 90% of my wardrobe is Zara! 

Anyway... this oversized jacket is a recent purchase. I love the relaxed feel of this jacket and I've thought of a million ways to style this up (I'm sure you'll see this in future posts). Today was beautifully sunny in Yorkshire so I went for a pale palette. I've styled this simply today with pastel skinnys and a cream blouse, and of course my heels and an oversized clutch in keeping with the oversized theme.

White Denim

First and foremost apologies for the lack of posts over the past couple of weeks. Today since the sun was shining after the torrential rain over the weekend I thought I would post about these white jeans. I love white denim, it has such a summery feel about it. Since it's not quite summer yet I've paired this with a staple grey T and printed bomber. It's not quite warm enough for bare arms just yet! I am slowly filtering summery pieces into my looks one by one. The sunglasses are not something I would usually go for but I fancied a change and had been looking for some nude coloured sunglasses for a while.
