I've called this post current favourites because all the items I'm wearing are just that! I love a sweatshirt and shorts combo and even though the weathers been particularly warm lately this one is sleeveless so I can just about get away with it. I love the colour of this sweater seen also in this post  its bright and adds a summer touch to my look. These shoes were a recent purchase from Zara which I haven't had off since I got them, they are unfortunatley sold out but I've picked some similar ones which are linked above. Lastly my Balenciaga bag which I've had for years is probably my most used bag of the moment. So simple and goes with everything. An investment piece for sure! This is my usual day to day look for summer.

Summer Stripes

With the sudden spurt of gorgeous sunshine we've been having lately I thought this striped Midi dress was the perfect outfit for some drinks with friends. I've actually had this dress a while so it's no longer available but there are loads of similar dresses out there and I have picked one of my favourites in the links above. My shoes were a recent sale purchase from Zara, they have unfortunately sold out but again I have searched for similar styles. I posted this look on my Instagram page and had some lovely comments so I thought I would blog this look.

Vintage 501

Today's post is centered around these Vintage Levi 501 Jean Shorts. I recently purchased these from a little independent vintage boutique in Sheffield. I've wanted some nice denim cut off's for a while but have never found the perfect pair that fit quite right or that aren't far too short. These are the perfect pair, they sit high on the waist and fall at just a nice length. I know I will be getting my wear out of these and as always I've thought of a million ways to style them up already! Today was a gorgeous sunny day so I went for a glass of wine and catch up with one of my close friends in a country pub. I've paired them today with a summery white blazer, simple cami and some block heels (which are the comfiest shoes ever!).

Relaxed

I love the relaxed feel of this boyfriend fit shirt.  I wanted to experiment with different looks and if you follow my Instagram you will see I've had my wear out of this over the past few days! It's so wearable and can be paired with skinnys and heels for a casual evening look. I wore this shirt over the weekend to my first BBQ of the year with denim cut off shorts and flats. I've seen a lot of these shirts on the High Street and I've chosen a few of my favourites above. You can click the links to shop the items.

I have been looking for a full midi skirt for a while so when I saw this I was sold. It's white which ticks the summer box, and subtley printed which I loved. There are loads of them out and about and I've picked two of my favourites linked above. This was an absolute bargain which I think gives me an excuse to add another to my collection! I've paired this with my denim jacket (which takes me back a few years!) a denim button down shirt and barely there heels. I always love to buy pieces I can pair with other items and I'd say everything I'm wearing above is a staple for me.

I've called this post dress up because when I picked my outfit that's exactly what I felt like I was doing... playing dress up! I think it was the tutu feel of this cute skirt. 
The weather plays a huge part in my choice of what to wear and when I see the sun shining I automatically think of the most spring looking outfit I can find, hence being swayed towards this skirt. This is a totally different look for me, I don't usually wear skirts in the day but I absolutely love the colour of this skirt (yes my pink obsession continues!) so I made an exception. Bejewelled

We all love a statement necklace and I'm no exception. For me Zara always pull through season after season and bring out the most beautiful collections. The piece I am wearing in this post is from their current collection. I instantly loved the colour of it and this will brighten up your winter wardrobe and carry through to spring/summer. I love a shirt and sweater combo, this necklace just dresses it up slightly.

Palma Violet Pastels

So with the current weather situation I thought it was about time I put together a semi spring ensemble to take me out of my winter lull. I'm getting bored with having to pair every outfit with a  thick coat. As much as I adore winter clothing it seems like the cold/wet snap has lasted forever. So imagine how excited I was walking into Zara to find a sweater (so it's still winter appropriate!) in a beautiful pastel shade. I have styled this with my leather trousers & black bomber. Simple semi spring look completed.
