Autumn High Street Haul

Autumn High Street Haul

Jeans- Topshop  Bag- Zara  Shoes- Mango  Jacket- Zara  Poncho- Oasis

Happy Friday everyone! I thought with Autumn well and truly here I would compile a selection of items from the high street which will see you through the season in style. The great thing about the selection of items I have chosen is they are all below £50! How amazing! Personally I think they are all staple pieces as well as being chic at the same time. So that said when I saw this bag in Zara I immediately thought it had a Celine vibe to it and with a £40 price tag its a winner!

The Croc print shoes for me are to die! I love everything about them, the point, the print, the colour! Huge winner in the autumn shoe stakes. The Poncho is another great buy. It can be worn over a shirt for a smart casual look or with a leather jacket under to add warmth and layers. There are loads on the high street at the moment, printed and embellished but you cant got wrong with black. Now I am known for being a little impractical when it comes to fashion so when I saw this jacket in Zara I though hmmm its not very warm...however its gorgeous light fabric hangs beautifully and can always be worn over a fine knit sweater so I've gone with it!

Let me know what you think of the above and if you yourself have found any staple trophy pieces on the High street that you love this season. I would love to know.

The Trend: Midi

Left to Right:  Pleated Skirt- Zara  Lace Skirt- Zara  Dress- Vivienne Westwood @ Net A Porter  Floral Skirt- Ted Baker  Nude Skirt- H&M  Black Silk Skirt- Tibi @ Net A Porter
Cut Out Sandals- Zara  Block Heel Sandals- Zara (Similar Here)  Barely There Heels- River Island

So let's talk about the Midi. This is definitely a trend that I am a huge fan of . It's so versatile and gives an elegant ladylike feel to any look. This piece can be dressed up for the evening or worn in the day with flats and a jacket to give a laid back feel. It can be taken from day to night by simply adding a pair of barely there strap heels, silk cami and statement necklace. I have chosen a few of my favorites above which can be shopped by clicking the links above. I love this trend and have blogged about this before here.

Culottes are making a statement this spring/summer. They are everywhere at the moment on the high street. In my opinion they are versatile and flattering. Worn high on the waist, with a bralet or cropped tee and heels for a glam look or dressed down with a simple staple tee and sandals for a daytime look. I love the culotte and will most definitley be investing in a pair myself.

How would you style them?

When I saw this picture of Kim Kardashian at a recent event I immediately loved this look! Its so different from her usual red carpet look and to be honest I prefer her a little more understated. Everyting about this look from the slouchy pants to the smoky eye and nude lip is A MA ZING! Safe to say Im obsessed. You could easily change this look up to suit your personal style by adding a colour pop clutch or lip but I have chosen my favourite pieces above. This look is understated and classy. Bravo Kim!

All White Everything

All White Everything

Top Left to Right- Sweater- Alexander Wang @ Net A Porter Jeans- Topshop  Jacket- Topshop  Skirt- Victoria Beckham @ Net A Porter  Bag- Zara  Dress- French Connection Shoes- Christian Louboutin @ Net A Porter  Lace Trim Socks- Topshop  Flat shoes- ASOS

All white everything for today's post. I'm absolutely loving all things white at the moment especially white denim. For spring add a dash of colour to tone it down, when summer comes the only accesory you need is a beautiful glowing tan. A red lip goes perfectly with white and glams it up a notch. I know we're only into the very start of spring but I have already invested in some white jeans. Something tells me I will be wearing them a lot! I'm absolutely obsessed with the Alexander Wang sweater and the gorgeous Louboutin Pumps.

Have you made any spring investment pieces yet?

Have a great weekend whatever your doing.

The Two Piece

The Two Piece
Yellow Jacket and Trousers Zara Zara  Yellow Floral Trousers and T Shirt- ASOS  Skirt and Blouse- Topshop  Gingham Trousers and Top - Topshop  Skirt and Cropped Top- Topshop

Today's end of week post is all about the Two Piece. This has been thrust back into the spotlight by none other than Kim Kardashian. She is absolutley loving this look right now which I must say compliments her curvaceous figure perfectly. I have to say I love the two piece. You can go either way with it, casual in the Gingham number or full on glam in the pink skirt and cropped T shirt. So ladies up your ab workouts in the gym because I have a feeling that the two piece will be a dominant piece for spring/summer.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading.

What a beautiful sunny, spring day! Days like these really inspire me to start looking for spring/summer clothes. I am obsessed with Feline shaped sunglasses at the moment and I'm looking for the perfect pair myself. There are so many to choose from on the high street as well as the designer brands above.  Granted the shape doesn't suit everyone but I for one love them so much that I'll run the risk! I have chosen some of my favourites above, the red Celine pair really caught my eye.

Which are you preferred shaped sunglasses this summer?

Think Pink!

Think Pink!

Top Row: City Bag- Zara   Faux Leather Skirt- Zara   Shoes- Zara  Lipstick- NARS
Bottom Row: Shoes- Valentino  Nail Polish- Butter London  Boots- Zara   Sunglasses- Linda Farrow

My love for all things pastel pink lately is bordering on an obsession! This is a definite 360 for me as I'm not usually a huge fan of pink. It's everywhere and is definitley the colour of the moment. I'm lusting over the Zara boots, these would look amazing with some leather trousers or even a skirt or dress... that's me sold! I think we will be seeing a lot of pink for Spring/Summer so search for your inner Elle Woods and embrace it.

What are your thoughts on the colour of the moment?
