Think Pink!

Think Pink!

My love for all things pastel pink lately is bordering on an obsession! This is a definite 360 for me as I'm not usually a huge fan of pink. It's everywhere and is definitley the colour of the moment. I'm lusting over the Zara boots, these would look amazing with some leather trousers or even a skirt or dress... that's me sold! I think we will be seeing a lot of pink for Spring/Summer so search for your inner Elle Woods and embrace it.

What are your thoughts on the colour of the moment?

Mixing prints can be tricky business as the last thing you want is for it to look too busy. I was a tad  sceptical about mixing a bold floral and a striped sweater but I think it works. I'm converted and will be mixing things up a lot more now. I love playing around with different looks. A Breton stripe is a wardrobe staple and can be mixed and matched with all kinds of outfits. Floral print is everywhere at the moment especially with the spring stock creeping into most stores. I think Spring is well and truly a stones throw away... bring on the warmer weather!

I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that Wednesday is such an inbetween day... although its not quite Monday blues its not quite Friday!!! So to make this hump day more bearable I've compiled a 'wish list'. I often do this, I am definitley one of those girls who always wants something and I am constantly adding to my wish list... its almost never ending! With Spring just around the corner my inspiration was all things pastel and floral. I think I'm a little in love with the pink Zara shoes. So cute! I will definitley be purchasing them so look out for them in my future posts.

We all love a statement necklace and I'm no exception. For me Zara always pull through season after season and bring out the most beautiful collections. The piece I am wearing in this post is from their current collection. I instantly loved the colour of it and this will brighten up your winter wardrobe and carry through to spring/summer. I love a shirt and sweater combo, this necklace just dresses it up slightly.

Have a Great Weekend and Happy Shopping!

Today's post is all about Statement Sweaters. They are having a moment and are the perfect way to dress up an outfit. From bold flowers to artistic motifs, there are loads to choose from out there. I have chosen a few of my favourites above but I could have gone on and on. I for one love them and will most definitely be investing in one... or two!

How would you style up your Statement Sweater?

So with the current weather situation I thought it was about time I put together a semi spring ensemble to take me out of my winter lull. I'm getting bored with having to pair every outfit with a  thick coat. As much as I adore winter clothing it seems like the cold/wet snap has lasted forever. So imagine how excited I was walking into Zara to find a sweater (so it's still winter appropriate!) in a beautiful pastel shade. I have styled this with my leather trousers & black bomber. Simple semi spring look completed.

How are you making the transition from Winter to Spring?

This post is all about the laid back look. Now I'm not usually a casual kind of girl but when I saw these sneakers in Topshop I instantly loved them! So I've given my feet a rest today to rock these for a change. A red lip and clutch still make me feel a tiny bit glam (See I can't be totally dressed down!).

Over the past week I have been on a little mini break in Devon with my lovely Mum. We regularly visit the South West as its one of my favourite places to holiday in England. Even though its only four hours from home it seems like I am a million miles away when I'm there, so relaxing!
Whilst we were in the area we decided to visit Jamie Oliver's restaurant Fifteen at Watergate Bay. The views from the restaurant are beautiful as it overlooks Watergate Bay beach. As you can see from the pictures the day was a bit of a wash out and was pouring it down all day. Never the less we had a great time. The food was absolutely beautiful and the staff couldn't have been any nicer. The restaurant had such a chilled out, relaxing vibe about it which I really loved. Definitely worth a visit!
Hopefully my next post wont involve an umbrella!
